Relocation of staff, equipment, and production warehouse

Central Mailing Services were established in 1992 to provide all-round solutions for direct mail campaigns. They offer clients high quality data processing, envelope / polythene enclosing and mail fulfilment and postage services. Their sustained growth has allowed them to continually invest in plant and equipment so they have all of the latest technology which has seen the business develop and evolve to incorporate in-house design services, print and packaging providing full campaign management completely unique to its clients. With this growth came the requirement of larger premises and the need to relocate.

Key Tasks

  • Transfer of all office accommodation furniture including desks, storage and associated equipment.

  • 125 packing crates for files and paperwork.

  • 40 desktop set-ups which were professionally packed and unpacked by BCL staff using anti-static bubble bag protection and designated IT techno boxes.

  • Sequential packing and unpacking of surplus stock.

  • Dismantle and re-erect warehouse racking system following the warehouse floor plans provided.

Project management and planning were the key to success

The complete move project was completed over a three day move program and backed up with a post-move support service on the Monday to assist staff with unpacking, fine tuning, and general setting up in their new environment.

BCL are proud to announce that the project was completed with the delight of the client and all staff involved, on time and to budget enabling business and productivity to run as programmed.
